March 4 Toronto CHAT sponsored an all-candidates meeting for the provincial by-election to be held in St. George riding. All three major candidates (Margaret Campbell [Lib.], Roy McMurtry [PC], and Ellen Adams [NDP]) attended, and gave cautious and mostly negative responses to questions regarding gay rights.
