November 11 Vancouver A lesbian and seven of her friends were verbally and physically assaulted by staff and thrown out of Champagne Charlie's, 612 Davie Street, after they complained about sexist remarks that had been made to them. At that time. Champagne Charlie's was one of the major lesbian and gay clubs in Vancouver.
