Description

Autumn Saint-Laurent, Qué, David Jacobs and Stephen Searle organized the group Gay Vanier at Vanier College. The group set up an office and drop-in centre, a library, and sponsored guest lectures. Gay Vanier may have been the earliest gay group to be established at a CEGEP. It collapsed in 1973 when Jacobs moved away. Jacobs was later active in Gay People of SFU.
