Description
July 24 Vancouver A lesbian resource centre was operating at A Woman's Place, 1766 W. Broadway. It carried a large collection of Canadian and American lesbian and feminist publications and was used by lesbians as a place to hold meetings. In October 1972 it moved to 130 W. Hastings Street, and in late 1973 to 804 Richards Street. By that time, a lesbian drop-in/rap group was being held on Monday nights.
