Description

June Toronto The Women's Place officially opened at 31 Dupont Street. It was a feminist organizing drop-in centre whose activities and groups included liberation workshops, rap sessions, consciousness-raising groups, speaking engagements, a library, and lesbian drop-ins. The Women's Place was administered by the Women's Information Centre of Toronto. It disbanded about 1975.
