Description
March 11 Toronto Nine women (most of whom were lesbians) attempted to take over the offices of the leftist underground newspaper Guerilla for a few days in order to raise publicity for women's liberation and International Women's Day and to use the newspaper's equipment to publish the first issue of The Other Woman. When the male members of the Guerilla staff were barred entry, they called the police. (see also May 1972.)
