Description

March 2 Victoria, B.C. George Mussallem (SC-Dewdney) rose in the Provincial Legislature and urged British Columbia Minister of Education Donald Brothers to review the place of sex education in the province's secondary schools. He believed that sex education was "ridiculous nonsense," and that education about gay liberation had no place in the school system. Mussallem was outraged after learning that New Westminster Secondary School had allowed on-site appointments between students and an unnamed "representative of the (gay) liberation movement."
