January 26 Charlottetown, P.E.I. The first Canadian case in which "engagement in a homosexual act" was used as grounds for divorce was heard by Mr. Justice Nicholson of the Prince Edward Island Supreme Court. In the case of M. vs. M., the husband was successful in suing his wife for divorce based on her lesbianism.
