January Saskatoon The Zodiac Friendship Society was officially formed and registered with the provincial government as a non-profit organization. The Society operated the Gemini Club, a weekly dance club, and a drop-in at the Unitarian Centre, 502 Main Street. It soon became an umbrella group for gay social and political activities in Saskatoon. (see also February 11, 1972.)
