November 21 Toronto All five of CHAT's social service counsellors (Sandra Dick, Linda Jain, Ed Jackson, Pat Murphy, and Paul Pearce) officially resigned from CHAT in protest over the organization's limiting structure and conservative goals. The move followed a policy convention meeting during which the counsellors lost a resolution that would have created a shared power structure in CHAT, with more autonomy going to the social services section.
