August 20 Toronto About twelve members of TGA participated in an "On to Ottawa" march to build support for the August 28 rally in Ottawa. This was the first public demonstration by lesbians and gays in Toronto. The marchers met at Queen's Park before heading east on St. Joseph Street to Yonge Street. The group proceeded down Yonge Street to Holy Trinity Square, where they joined in a dance sponsored by CHAT.
