Description
April Vancouver Doug Hellquist and Dan Nalbach placed an advertisement in the Georgia Straight announcing a new gay group in Saskatoon. Response to the ad eventually resulted in the formation of the Gay Alliance toward Equality (GATE) (Saskatoon), a small group devoted to gay liberation. (see also Autumn 1971 and January 1972.)
