Description

Toronto The radical feminist organization New Feminists (NF) was formed by ex-members of the Toronto Women's Liberation Movement (TWLM). The NF, which operated until 1973, failed to adequately address the issue of lesbianism or lesbian oppression. A few lesbian members of NF, such as Aaron (aka Holly) Devor, protested the group's anti-lesbian stance and were expelled from membership as a result.
