Description

February 20 Toronto More than 2,000 gays and their supporters rallied at Queen's Park to protest the February 5 bath raids and marched to 52 Division police headquarters. Six people were arrested. The protesters demanded that an independent inquiry be held into the raids. Four men carrying the lead banner in the protest were later identified as undercover policemen when photographs of the event, taken by Ted Hebbes of the Toronto Clarion, were examined.
