May 24—25 Windsor, Ont. The Windsor-Sandwich NDP Riding Association passed resolutions supporting the inclusion of a sexual orientation clause in the Ontario Human Rights Code, supporting John Damien's fight against the Ontario Racing Commission, and condemning the failure of the Green Paper on Immigration and Population to recommend the deletion of anti-gay clauses in the federal Immigration Act. These resolutions had been introduced by delegate Harold B. Desmarais, chairperson of WGU. (see also July 4-7,1975.)
