Description

September Calgary The GAU was established at the University of Calgary as the first lesbian or gay group on campus. Its aim was to provide a focus for discussion and to promote gay studies and scholarship. The first executive consisted of Mac Melrose (president), Gale Comin (vice-president), Dallas Cooper (secretary), and Brian Wingrove (treasurer).
