October 3-5 Waterloo, Ont. The first Canadian men's liberation conference was held at the University of Waterloo. More than 150 participants attended a workshop on men and homosexuality, during which a resolution was passed to support the inclusion of a sexual orientation clause in the Ontario Human Rights Code. The conference also expressed solidarity with Doug Wilson.
