October 2 Saskatoon At a rally of 300-400 people in support of Doug Wilson, MLA Paul Mostoway (NDP -Saskatoon-Centre) pledged his support for gay rights and said that he would work towards the inclusion of sexual orientation in provincial human rights legislation. This was the largest gay rights rally held in Canada to that time.
