Description

November Montréal A gay synagogue was organized, patterned after the gay synagogue in New York City. Meetings were initially held Friday evenings at 407-7461, rue Kingsley, in Cote St. Luc. Originally there were only four members but by June 1975 it had evolved into a Jewish discussion group that attracted between ten and fifteen people (mostly men) every week. This was the beginning of the gay Jewish group Naches.
