January Canada Jearld Moldenhauer of The Body Politic undertook a cross-country tour in an effort to consolidate and coordinate the activities of the NGEC and to initiate the formation of gay liberation groups in centres where there were none. Moldenhauer spoke to gays in Windsor, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver. (see also January 24, 1974)
