Description
September 5 Vancouver A convention of the Canadian Bar Association passed a resolution calling for a further relaxation of gross indecency laws, beyond the changes proposed in Bill C-150. The Bar Association proposed that the age of sexual consent be lowered from twenty-one (as in the proposed bill) to sixteen or eighteen, to reflect the juvenile age limits in each province.
